Y’all. I have a confession. I love fab salve. It is my obsession. I’m addicted to this creamy, silky, moisturizing stuff. I use it every single day for any and everything. Dry skin, chapped lips, gross feet, razor burn, sadness – you name it. I dream of bathing in it on an almost-daily basis. Yes. It’s that amazing.
I have the good fortune of knowing the creator of fab salve. She’s amazing too. But let me say that she is not the reason I’m confessing my love for her creation. While she does know of my love for fab salve, she doesn’t know I’m writing this. It’s just that lately I’ve found myself telling a copious number of people about fab salve for various reasons (they/their child has eczema, their baby has a diaper rash, they have dry/itchy skin, their feet look like an ogre’s, their hands feel like sandpaper, they’re looking for a lotion to fall in love with, etc). I figure a blog post about it is the best way to spread the word. I honestly think everyone’s life will be enriched by it.
So here’s the scoop: my fabulous friend, Carrie, concocted fab salve because her youngest kid had really bad eczema – nothing helped. So she cooked up her own remedy and called it “fab salve.” Fab salve ingredients include: coconut oil, shea butter, beeswax, vitamin E, lavender, and tea tree oil. She slathered her eczema-inflicted child with it one night and the next day he had smooth, creamy, baby soft skin! Worked like magic! It works so well that my mother (a pediatrician) has started recommending it for her patients with eczema. It’s homemade, all-natural, and doctor-recommended! Doesn’t get much better than that.
Lucky for me (and you), Carrie has started selling it on Etsy ($10 for 4 oz). If you’re local (within 20 miles of McKinney), you don’t have to pay shipping. A little bit of fab salve goes a long way, so a 4 ounce jar will last you awhile. Click here to purchase a jar of this magical stuff.
I encourage anyone who has skin, feet, and/or lips to try it. Unless you like having dry skin, gross feet, or chapped lips. Then fab salve is definitely not for you.
