Progesterone shots started on Friday! It was in the middle of Jan’s baby shower so a nurse friend of mine gave me the first shot. Love my people! The shots aren’t fun, but they’re not as bad as I expected them to be. I had to pack shots to go for Saturday and Sunday night so I’m glad I have this little carrying case.
On Friday night we hosted a BabyQ to celebrate Baby Girl Cummings! It was so fun and casual. We hung out in the backyard and ate and swam in the pool. Super fun!
We after partied in the hot tub with these fun friends!
On Saturday we got to celebrate the twins’ 1st birthday with their family!!!! I left so grateful and with a heart overflowing. We love these boys so so much, and we’re so grateful for the relationship we get to have with them and their family, that we get to see and love them even after they’ve left our home.
The twins’ mom on the left and their aunt on the right. My whole entire life was MADE when their aunt said to me, “We’re family now.” WHOLE ENTIRE LIFE – MADE.
Aunt Samara got in lots of good snuggles and pat-pats with Rahkeem.
Gary and I snuck in a little date night after the birthday party and got sushi and ice cream – my faves!
On Sunday I napped – for like 5 hours because the progesterone is making me SO TIRED – and then went to church. Typical Sunday at the Combs house! Minus the 5 hour nap. 😉
